In New York in the early morning, the cold winter days are always full of endless vitality. As an architect, I am curious about the art of architecture from different cultures. Today, I will take my dream into Italy far away. In my heart, Italy has always been a haven for architecture and gastronomy. I was fascinated by the charm of Italian culture and architecture. Travel is a feast for the eyes and palates, and Italy definitely satisfies my appetite. I stepped on the plane to Italy, excited and looking forward to it. During the long flight, I had a conversation with myself, about my dreams and achievements. ''Hiram Ip, you finally have the opportunity to experience the beauty of Italy firsthand, and this trip will be an important milestone in your design career. I said to myself. Upon arrival in Rome, the capital of Italy, I was fascinated by the history and architecture of this ancient city. I wandered the streets of Rome and admired the magnificence and elaboration of ancient Roman architecture. I arrived at the Colosseum, a huge building baptized by time that still shows its majesty. Standing in the middle of the arena, I couldn't help but imagine the bravery and struggle of ancient gladiators. Leaving Rome, I traveled to beautiful Florence. The city was an important center of the Renaissance and is home to many world-renowned works of architecture and art. I visited Florence Cathedral, a magnificent building known for its colorful marble façade and massive dome. Standing in the square in front of the church, I felt the blend of history and art, which was amazing. In addition to the architecture, I certainly can't miss the Italian cuisine. I tasted authentic pasta and I was intoxicated by the simple yet delicious taste. I also tasted local pizza, gelato and rich coffee, and every bite was endless. This trip to Italy gave me a deeper understanding of Italian architecture and culture, and also provided a steady stream of new inspiration in my design career. ''Hiram Ip, you can incorporate these wonderful architectural elements into your design to create a different living space for people. I said to myself. With fond memories of Italy and a lot of creativity, I returned to New York. That's where I live and work, and it's where my dreams began. I will translate the gains and experiences of this trip into my design work to create a unique and memorable building for each client.
