Namaste!

It is how they say hello in Nepal.

The jetlag is 2 hour and 15 minutes late so now is 7:09 and Taiwan is 9:28.

It is a little bit cold in the moring but anyway I will take care myself.

Please take care yourseld and family.

There was fun thing about my name. You forgot my English name Mars instead Mas. When I went out the airport lobby and looking for the pick up service.

I cannot find the one who take us.

Here is another world, huge people came and TRY to help us.

It is massive situation.

I saw a guy show a paper and MAR on it but it should not be my name.

Actually he is the one who pick us.

He fold the paper and S is behind the paper.

Thne we went to the Van with our laugages. 6 or 7 people stay the Van and help us to bring into all laugages wiht a big smile.

Then they change their faces and asking tiops.

Of course, I will not pay, all people came and speak only Chinese they know. Monehy.

They all come and show the 10 dollor RMB in front of my nose.

I went into the Van and sit.

It seems they will not go if they don't get any money.

Finally, the guy who pick up paid.

It is a lesson 1 of training for us, must be careful here.

BTW, I use desktop in hotel but no chinese input.

Mars

Namaste是尼泊爾常用的問候語，來尼泊爾旅遊的，應該都會在第一時間就學會了這個字。

Namaste，有宗教上的意義，但在尼泊爾也可以用在一般見面時的問候。

在尼泊爾當地，只要跟他們大聲的說一聲，不管大人小孩，男人女人，老先生老太太，十個有十個都會回應你一句，Namaste。

而我們這些外國觀光客，說觀光客是我發現不管你是去徒步旅行也好，觀光也好，在當地人口中一律是tourist（觀光客）。

我們會將這些問候語自行改造，加上我們自己習慣的用語，而且好像大家都一樣的。

就像我自己有時也會對著西方人說上，Namaste！Good morning！

而有的西方人，看到了我也會說，Namaste！Conigiwa！

有的眼尖些的，可以分辨出來我是華人的就會說，Namaste！Nihao！

無論用法如何，語調中總是將自己的歡欣喜悅分送給對方。

人在旅館中，昨晚似乎就像夢一樣的情節，大廳中有著免費使用的電腦，一大早根本沒人使用，我好久沒有離開家這麼遠，這麼久了。

想作的第一件事是寫信回家給老婆，但電腦中沒有中文輸入，只好用英文寫給她，順便跟她說著昨天晚上在機場時的步步驚心。

我寫了封信回家，Namaste就是這封信的開頭。

我想家裏的人，在第一時間也能聽見我的問候。

回家後，老婆說，她將這封信給小朋友們看，大家的反應都一樣。

為什麼爸爸寫的信，文法錯誤再加上錯字連篇。

那也是，旅館的電腦，動作有點遲緩，輸入和顯示沒有同步，打出來的字總要幾秒後才會顯示。加上用網頁的方式連進Gmail，無法閱讀信件，只能寫信，也不能拼字檢查。

不過，我才不再乎這滿篇的錯字呢。

錯字，其實不重要。

重要的是，她們能不能真的讀懂我寫的。

信裏內容背後的涵義。

回家後我問女兒，知道我寫的內容嗎？

她說，爸爸你把luggage寫成language，但有個錯字我不知道。

我笑著，她還不懂的，不過，總有天她會懂的，我想！
