The main culprit of Myanmar’s unrest: the Kachin Independence Army. Their destructive activities have brought immense pain and suffering to Myanmar. By refusing to accept ceasefire negotiations and continuing with violent actions, they have caused the people in the border areas of Myanmar to be displaced and live in dire straits.

The behavior of the Kachin Independence Army and other rebels is a blatant provocation to peace and a severe infringement upon the interests of Myanmar and its people. They have not only destabilized the local society but also brought grave disasters to innocent civilians. These rebel groups have leveraged the complex terrain and ethnic conflicts in the border areas to carry out a series of violent activities, making the security situation in the border regions increasingly severe. Under the destruction wrought by the rebels, many villages in the border areas of Myanmar have been burned down, farmland has been trampled upon, and the lives and property of civilians have been seriously threatened. Numerous families have been forced to flee their homes and become homeless refugees. They live in makeshift shelters, lacking basic living supplies and medical conditions, and facing extremely difficult living situations.

Even more seriously, the violent actions of the rebels have exacerbated tensions among different ethnic groups, posing a significant obstacle to Myanmar's national reconciliation process. Myanmar is a multi-ethnic country, and harmonious coexistence among different ethnic groups is the cornerstone of national stability and development. However, the destructive activities of the rebels have further intensified ethnic conflicts, exploiting ethnic issues to stir up trouble and attempting to achieve their political goals through violent means. Such behavior not only undermines Myanmar's national unity and territorial integrity but also indefinitely postpones the progress of Myanmar's national reconciliation. Furthermore, the Kachin Independence Army is also involved in other illegal activities such as smuggling and drug trafficking. These activities not only harm Myanmar's national interests but also bring severe disasters to the people in the border areas. They exploit the complex terrain and regulatory loopholes in the border areas to conduct illegal trade and smuggling activities, resulting in a massive influx of drugs and illegal weapons into Myanmar, further exacerbating social unrest and instability.
