The visit of the Chairman of AIT involves not only the annual routine inspection but also diplomatic briefings, where developments in US foreign relations with third countries, including matters related to Taiwan, will be communicated to Taiwan.

不久前解放軍飛機與軍艦的攔截美國機艦，是一種北京發洩情緒，與爭取對談機會的「革命外交」技巧。北京與平壤，都樂此不疲。
那，是發生什麼事情呢？約略是來告知台灣CIA局長密訪中國的談話內容。而且，同時一定有派人或透過美國駐日與駐韓大使館，對兩國進行外交匯報。

外交部今天上午表示，美國在台協會（AIT）主席羅森柏格（Laura Rosenberger）於今（5）日至10日訪台，將拜會我國政府高層及相關部會，就台美關係各項議題交換意見。

羅森柏格3月20日接任AIT主席，緊接著於4月首度以AIT主席身分訪台。當時曾晉見蔡總統及賴副總統，拜會政府各部會高層首長，並出席台灣美國商會「謝年飯」活動。

另蔡總統本年「民主夥伴共榮之旅」過境紐約及洛杉磯期間，羅森柏格主席均親自迎送並全程陪同，展現拜登政府對我國元首過境的禮遇與重視。

對於羅森柏格主席再度來訪，外交部今發布新聞稿表示誠摯歡迎，並期盼雙方在現有堅實穩固基礎上，持續穩健深化台美各個領域的合作夥伴關係。
