11月21日是「世界哈囉日」，又稱「世界問候日」，其設立目的是為了鼓勵人們通過「溝通」而不是使用武力來解決衝突，以促進世界和平。
由美國的兩兄弟 Brian McCormack 與 Michael McCormack 於1973年發起
他們相信：「問候」本身就是一種跨越政治、信仰與文化的和平語言。
響應的方式不難，可以跟10個人說「你好/Hello」、在社群上發起問候、寫封問候信、對陌生人給出友善的微笑
＊近年，總是有人說台灣就像動森居民那樣，我認同，因為自己也常受到陌生人善意的幫助，並有機會也時常成為那樣的陌生人，同時也有人對於這個說法非常不認同，這我也認同，因為也遇過很糟糕的人們，當這個比例更多，那麼能夠理解為什麼會有人不認為台灣人有如同動森居民的善意，只能說，世界上什麼人都有，在任何國家社會中，有能夠達成愛與善循環的人，也有還以為自己活在械鬥年代的人，麻煩的是，截然不同生存邏輯的我們，都要共同生活在同一個星球，說實話，我個人並不知道這能如何解？但日常中每個良善的人累積任何一點一滴地小小的善意，總覺得能夠用蝴蝶效應的方式改善世界，這我是相信的（雖然可能跟造林一樣，惡意要火燒一座山幾分鐘，要養出一片森林幾百年）

It was established to encourage people to resolve conflicts through communication rather than force, in hopes of promoting global peace.
＊In recent years, people often say that Taiwanese folks resemble the villagers in Animal Crossing. I agree—because I, too, have often received unexpected kindness from strangers, and at times have had the chance to be that kind stranger for others.
But there are also people who strongly disagree with this comparison, and I agree with them as well, because I’ve also encountered very unpleasant individuals. When the proportion of such people increases, it becomes easier to understand why some feel that Taiwanese aren’t as kind as Animal Crossing villagers.
The truth is: the world contains all kinds of people. In every country and society, there are those who foster cycles of love and kindness, and those who still act like they’re living in some bygone era of street fights. The difficult part is that people with completely different survival logic still have to share the same planet.
Honestly, I don’t know what the ultimate solution to that is. But I do believe this: every small act of kindness accumulated by good-hearted people can, in a butterfly-effect sort of way, make the world better. I genuinely believe that—though perhaps, like reforesting, malice can burn down a mountain in minutes, while nurturing a forest takes centuries.
