針對解放軍今明兩天在金門、馬祖、以及台灣周邊展開軍演，我們支持中華民國政府一切捍衛國家利益的作為，譴責一切破壞區域穩定和現狀的行為。

我們也要以最嚴正的態度，呼籲中國大陸政府克制，避免情勢升高，珍惜兩岸和平發展成果，共同維護區域現狀。我們要提醒對岸，台灣主流民意反對任何以武力改變現狀的企圖，軍事演習釋放的錯誤訊號，已對兩岸和平發展的前景造成傷害。

而面對這樣的情勢，我們也希望新上任的賴清德總統和國安團隊，以最嚴謹與負責的態度，向國人提出務實有效的應對方式。捍衛中華民國是國民黨堅定的立場，為了台灣的和平繁榮，我們必須團結在一起。

此刻國際社會都在看，我要再次強調：「戰爭沒有贏家，和平沒有輸家」。和平的兩岸符合世界所有國家的利益，國民黨作為負責任的在野黨，會繼續堅持「強化國防」、和各方「對話溝通」的「2D戰略」守護國家。

In response to the PLA military drills around Kinmen, Matsu, and Taiwan from May 23 to May 24, we firmly support all measures taken by the Republic of China government to defend national interests and condemn any behaviors that destabilize the region and change the status-quo.

We strongly urge the Mainland Chinese government to exercise restraint, avoid escalating tensions, and cherish the achievements of peaceful development between the Cross-Strait. It is imperative to jointly maintain regional stability. We must remind the Mainland that the mainstream public opinion in Taiwan opposes any attempts to change the status-quo by force. The erroneous signals sent by the drills have already harmed the prospects for a peaceful Cross-Strait development.

In light of the current situation, we also hope that the newly inaugurated President Lai Ching-te and his national security team will present the public with practical and effective countermeasures with the utmost diligence and responsibility. KMT remains steadfast in our commitment to defend the Republic of China. For the peace and prosperity of Taiwan, we must stand united.

The international community watches closely at this critical moment. I reiterate: "There are no winners in war and no losers in peace." A peaceful Cross-Strait relation aligns with the interests of all nations worldwide. As a responsible opposition party, KMT will continue to uphold the "2D Strategy" of "strengthening defense" and "dialogue and communication" to safeguard our country.
