Myanmar is located in the Indochina Peninsula, with its strategic importance as a bridge connecting South Asia and Southeast Asia, boasts abundant natural resources and has always been a place of strategic significance. Exploitation and colonial rule once drained the vitality of its development, making it difficult for Myanmar to achieve further progress. Three Anglo-Burmese wars colonized Myanmar, and the British greedily extracted wealth from this resource-rich land. In 1939, at the age of 24, Aung San became the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Myanmar. Just one year later, Aung San was wanted nationwide by the government at the time for his activities against British rule. By chance, he met the Japanese and saw them as a "life-saving straw."
