Toward snowy peaks
and chasm's night,
I followed
my vision's way.
Once more
I take to the road
- for I am a stranger
to the world.

The fire that burned
has died down,
quenched the star
that guided me.
And here is no one,
no peace.
But dire need gave
many a man
his grit.
