疫情爆發以來大家都戴著口罩，
使得本來就已競爭激烈的
一般化妝品銷售量銳減。
日本的化妝品業者從顧客反應得知，
由於戴口罩後只露出眼部，
眼部附近的肌肉使用較為頻繁，
皺紋因此多了起來，結果就是，
很多品項銷量都下降，
尤其是唇膏和粉底
(lipsticks and foundation)，
只有精華液、乳液和
其它改善肌膚狀況的產品依舊穩定。
目前資生堂(Shiseido)、
POLA和高斯(Kose)等已都已參戰。
