✉️ To Parents
This week's Monday story is a literary-style fantasy tale about wonder and observation. The language emphasizes figurative speech, rich adjectives, and conditional sentences to help students expand emotional vocabulary and imagery skills. Children will practice interpreting symbolic writing and describing imaginary settings.
📖 Today's Reading

One morning, Gigi woke up and found that the sky was no longer blue.
It had turned a soft lavender, like the color of wildflowers by the river. The clouds were not white, but gold, drifting like melting coins across the sky. When the rain began to fall, it wasn’t cold or wet. Instead, each raindrop was a tiny bead of color—reds, greens, purples, and blues, shimmering in the sunlight.
Gigi stepped outside barefoot. Her toes touched puddles that reflected entire rainbows. Her clothes stayed dry, but her heart felt soaked with wonder.
Isaac ran out after her, holding a basketball. When the colorful drops touched the ball, it bounced higher, lighter, as if the colors had made it float.
Eva came twirling onto the grass, laughing. With each spin, more colors gathered around her like ribbons.
No one knew why the sky had changed, or how long it would last.
Some people grabbed cameras. Some called the news. Some stayed inside, afraid.
But Gigi, Isaac, and Eva decided to dance.
They danced until the golden clouds faded, and the last violet drop fell.
And even when the sky returned to its usual pale blue, something inside them stayed brighter—like the memory of a day when the world had been more magical than anyone had dared to imagine.
