基本介紹
CAA南洋大兜（亞特拉斯南洋大兜原名亞種）主產地位於蘇拉維西及其周邊島嶼。
CAA南洋大兜（亞特拉斯南洋大兜原名亞種）主產地位於蘇拉維西及其周邊島嶼，雄蟲體長約45~100mm，雌蟲為48~60mm。相較於其他亞種其體型較為寬闊圓潤，頭角上沒有突起，胸角彎曲幅度強烈。
雄蟲脾氣暴躁；交配時務必要看著，防治雄蟲爆母；繁殖使用發酵木屑即可，非常容易爛蛋，可以重新給母蟲佈置產房或是使用濕巾紙適當解決。幼蟲使用使用偏生的發酵木屑飼養即可。超過55公克的雄性幼蟲就可以羽化出長角型個體，不需要溫控也可以養大角型。
小知識：種名「atlas」來自希望神話中的巨人：atlas，中文譯為阿特拉斯或亞特拉斯。
