Back in Week 2, we went to Cools Down resort after visiting the Insect Zoo. I spied a Michelin sign next to Cools Down and made a note to visit it.
One lunchtime, Baba and I decided to make a run for it (it took a long time to get a cab and the driver got lost driving through the forest, which goes to show how hidden it is!)
Once we arrived at The Ironwood, we were like wowww…..It was lovely to sit inside or wander round…
The food is nice, though not as wow as the place... For the super snobs, (of which I am possibly one!) it was once in the Michelin guide, but not at the time of visit. Food prices very reasonable.
It also has nice separate accomodation bookable on airbnb (see pic 3) which has a French vibe. Sounds lovely if you want to sequester away.
