O1 Stream has given rise to several excellent products. This article introduces the OVER IP Matrix product line, including the EX-5801, WP-5801, and EX-5701. The EX-5801 is positioned as the mainstream model, while the WP-5801 is a wall-plate variant with identical functionality. The EX-5701, on the other hand, is a high-end model equipped with full image-processing capabilities, featuring both Multi-View and Video Wall functions.
Let’s start with the standard model, the EX-5801. Each set includes a Transmitter (TX) and a Receiver (RX). Through a 1G network infrastructure, it can perform extension, switching, distribution, and matrix functionalities. Key specifications include:

The WP-5801 is the wall-plate version of the EX-5801. Its major functions are identical, making it ideal for meeting-room walls or tabletops. In higher-end conference rooms, where design integration and clean cabling are important, wall-plate extenders are often used to enhance overall aesthetics. Notably, the TX and RX units of the WP-5801 and EX-5801 are fully interoperable, making applications more convenient and flexible.
The EX-5701 is positioned as a high-end model. It features a larger memory capacity and a more powerful image-processing engine. In addition to supporting a higher resolution of 8K60 @ 4:2:2, it also offers several advanced video-processing capabilities, listed as follows:

- Video Wall capability
- Network KVM (Mouse Roaming)
First, the EX-5701 supports USB-C video transmission via DP1.4 Alt-Mode, keeping pace with future trends. More impressively, the EX-5701 supports both Multi-View and Video Wall functionality. Multi-View allows users to display multiple signal sources within a single screen. Video Wall divides a source signal into multiple displays and assembles them into a large video wall. These two powerful features are complex and require management software for optimal usability. Their release is currently scheduled for 2026 Q2.
The EX-5701 is capable of transmitting video, audio, and USB simultaneously, placing it within the KVM product category. Through the management software, users can switch between different computers. Even better, it supports Mouse Roaming — instead of issuing commands or pressing hotkeys, users can simply move the mouse, and the system automatically switches computers. This is a major leap forward in user experience.
Another point worth highlighting: the EX-5701 adopts a "Transceiver" design, meaning the transmitter and receiver are combined into a single unit. With simple configuration, it can function as either TX or RX. What are the benefits? First, installers no longer risk picking the wrong device, avoiding repeated installation trips. Additionally, distributors and system integrators no longer need to worry about stocking the right TX/RX quantities. In Over-IP architectures, TX and RX counts are often asymmetric, making inventory planning challenging. The transceiver design solves installation and inventory issues — though at the cost of increased hardware complexity. More components, larger PCB, and a bigger housing naturally raise costs. Whether to design separate TX/RX units or a unified transceiver is a strategic decision each brand must make.
