我近期最有感的一點|Judging(被評價)

我曾問學員:「為什麼只有少部分人會主動申請教練對話?」

他的回答是:人們害怕被評價,擔心自己會被糾正、被給答案,彷彿代表「自己是錯的」。

這正好呼應四大基石的核心精神

Julian Treasure 提出的四大基石,與我一直強調的「真誠啟發,而非評價指導」高度一致。

當說話中缺乏善意與真誠,再好的技巧也難以真正被聽見。

我的實際運用

在教練與教學現場,我更刻意提醒自己:說話不是為了顯得正確,而是創造一個讓人願意被聽、也願意開口的安全空間。

1.cornerstone- there are four really powerful cornerstones, foundations, that we can stand on if we want our speech to be powerful and to make change in the world.

*Cornerstone means the most important and basic part of something — the foundation that everything else is built on.基石

來自古老建築概念:

👉 放在建築角落、最先放的那塊基石

整棟建築是否穩固,取決於它。

Cornerstone is what everything stands on.

一切站得住的根本。

2.Penultimate, the sixth of the seven, embroidery, exaggeration.

*Penultimate means second to last.倒數第二, *Embroidery literally means decorative stitching on fabric — using thread to add patterns or designs.刺繡/ adding unnecessary decorative details to a story or message 加油添醋

paene=幾乎、差一點

ultimus=最後的

👉 paene + ultimus = 幾乎是最後


3.dogmatism-And finally, dogmatism. The confusion of facts with opinions. When those two things get conflated, you're listening into the wind.

*Dogmatism 武斷/教條主義

is the tendency to present opinions as if they were unquestionable facts.把個人觀點當成不容質疑的事實,缺乏開放與辨證。)

Dogmatism is opinion wearing the costume of fact.

把意見穿上「事實的衣服」。
