The fashion industry has long been criticised for its narrow beauty standards and lack of representation of other body types, such as the plus-size body, which is people with larger bodies than average. When mainstream brands only sell clothing of a certain size range, others who do not fit in are left with limited and usually less trendy options. Moreover, society’s discrimination towards large bodies have made people with such physique self-conscious and even reluctant to go shopping.

The clothes carry sizes up to 4XL. From Kangol, Adidas to off-the-shoulder tops and floral dresses, the store owners hope to provide fashionable choices that even young people who wear larger sizes would be interested to try on.
