This instruction is applicable to the masonry construction, baking and application of anti-stripping high-alumina bricks on thermal equipment.
I. Construction preparation
1. Check the drawings to determine the types, models, masonry lengths, progress and technical requirements of each part of the kiln.
2. Confirm the construction plan with the user, the supplier's supervisor (if necessary), and the construction party, and be responsible for explaining it to the construction personnel.
3. According to the construction sequence, anti-stripping high-alumina bricks are stored according to shape, size, material, etc.
4. Kiln inspection, determination of loop line and center line.
II. Construction process
1. Anti-stripping high-alumina bricks must be handled with care during transportation. Throwing or impact damage is strictly prohibited.
2. If wet masonry, refractory mud of the same material must be used.
3. If a bricklaying machine is used for construction, continuous operation can be carried out; if a cross support or a one-line support method is used, it must be strictly implemented according to the masonry regulations.
4. The masonry mortar joint is 1~2mm.
5. A wooden hammer or a rubber hammer must be used for knocking and alignment. After the mud is dry, the masonry must not be knocked again.
6. The entire masonry requires full mud, straight mortar joints, flat arc surface, uniform mortar mouth, and tight joints.
7. When there are 5~6 bricks left, the joints must be locked in advance with locking bricks and debugging. After it is appropriate, iron plates must be added to wedge and tighten.
8. When the construction site is uneven, it is necessary to use refractory mud or refractory concrete to level it before bricklaying.
III. Baking of brick lining
Heating rate before 110℃ is 30℃/h, and keep warm at 110℃ for 2 hours. Heating rate from 110~300℃ is 40℃/h. Heating rate after 300℃ is 50℃/h. There should also be a corresponding kiln rotation system: based on the temperature at the kiln tail, 300~500℃ rotate 1/4 turn every 30 minutes. 500~700℃ rotate 1/4 turn every 15 minutes. Above 700℃, rotate the kiln continuously at low speed until normal production. The total kiln baking time is controlled within 20 hours, and at least not less than 16 hours.
IV. Technical requirements
1. Baking is the key link in the use of anti-stripping high-alumina bricks, so the baking system and the principle of "slow heating, no turning back, no interruption" should be strictly followed. No sudden temperature drop or local overheating of the brick lining is allowed during the baking process.
2. If the kiln is temporarily stopped to deal with a fault, if it exceeds 2 hours, oil must be sprayed into the kiln intermittently to keep the burning zone from extinguishing.
3. Prevention is the priority, ensuring the normal operation of each system and the stability of the process batching and thermal system. It is strictly forbidden to have abnormal supply of materials and coal, stagnation of materials in the system, blockage, improper flame position, etc. At the same time, special attention should be paid to the maintenance of the firmness of the kiln skin of the burning zone and timely replenishment.
4. The transportation and storage of anti-stripping high-alumina bricks must be rainproof and moisture-proof, and stored in a dry and well-ventilated warehouse.
5. Anti-freeze measures should be taken during winter construction.
6. Keep records for reference during masonry construction, baking and application.
V. Precautions
1. It is strictly forbidden to use refractory bricks with damaged working surface, serious oversize, no markings, and too many cracks.
2. Users, supervisors, and construction parties should check the construction quality at any time during the construction process.
3. After the construction is completed, the construction acceptance shall be carried out.
