It’s been a while since my last update.
I’ve been fully immersed in scaling our overseas operations lately. As my business focus has shifted from Taiwan to international markets, my schedule has become increasingly demanding, and I’ll likely be spending less time back home moving forward.
Taking advantage of a brief year-end window, I took my mother out for a day at Taipei 101. We stopped by the LV boutique to pick out a gift for her, followed by dinner at a five-star Italian restaurant.
To be honest, I take great pride in looking after those closest to me. I genuinely want the people in my circle to enjoy a better quality of life because of my success. On one hand, it’s about "remembering your roots"; on the other, it serves as a constant reminder to keep pushing forward, with the aspiration that one day the people around me will take pride in my accomplishments.
I’ve essentially taken over the family’s capital expenditures—housing, cars, international travel, luxury goods… you name it, I’ve likely covered it 🤣.
In return, however, my mother has granted me immense autonomy. She respects my career trajectory completely. Whether it was studying Electrical Engineering, launching a startup at NTU, expanding operations overseas, or pivoting into the AI sector, she has never interfered with my strategic roadmap.
I often joke with her: "If I could have a child like me, I wouldn't just have one—I’d have a dozen." Perhaps I could achieve financial independence on the spot hahaha.
But of course, that’s all purely theoretical for now. No marriage, no kids—it’s all just "blue-sky thinking" at this point. I think I’ll stick to the more reliable path: grinding hard, scaling the business, and building wealth on my own terms.
