Dark Storm
Why is it blowing so fierce ? This gigantic storm
Sweeping over the country ,
A dark heavy blast
Blowing off even the feeble lamps
Twinkling their last light
Swallowing
All that it meets
O what darkness
What a storm
A pity
The day is not yet
Bequeathed to the children
Why do you not
Push forward that burning globe of sun
Why do you not
Rend the darkness
With the torch of your will?
O Man
Around your neck
A garland of drops of sweat
Each drop a million suns
