Graffiti is obviously art. First, it ___(4)___a lot of time and hard work. It is not just scribbling. Graffiti artists ___(5)___ other painters. Their art starts as sketches and outlines, ___(6)___ with vivid pictures and various details later. The only difference is that they paint on walls ___(7)___ on paper. ·       No!

Graffiti makes a mess. It is ___(13)___ visual pollution. Most graffiti is “tagging,” ___(14)___ is more like just scribbling someone’s name. These ugly paintings make cities look messy. ___(15)___, most graffiti is done without permission. A lot of money and ___(16)___ are needed to get rid of it. The city of Los Angeles, for example, has a huge problem with graffiti, ___(17)___ millions of dollars every year cleaning it up. Each month, workers wash away hundreds of thousands of square feet of it. ___(18)___ graffiti harms communities. Many people believe that graffiti is ___(19)___ criminal activity, feeling that it is unsafe to walk around or live in areas with graffiti. If graffiti ___(20)___ all these problems, can we really call it art?

Which side of the wall are you on ___(21)___graffiti? Is it creative or ___(22)___? Now, it’s your turn to express yourself and share your thoughts about it!
