因為上次想去大屯山看日出和雲海沒有看成，這次便來到位在苗栗泰安鄉的馬那邦山，這裡也是當地泰雅族族民的聖山，「馬拉邦」更是泰雅語山容壯麗的意思。

別名｢大關山」，有一顆三等三角點，又因地勢陡峭，名列台灣高山七峭之一，與庫哈諾辛、關山嶺山並稱南橫三星。台灣百岳：71。標高海拔：3,222m。來回里程：4.3km
這是我米飯第二座百岳，第一座合歡山 白牆，有點失落而歸，謝謝上帝讓我看到大景，心中是無限的感動，謝謝台灣這座寶島，總是給我驚喜。
