Sensor
2024 1031 Yizhen: The Sensor
This is the blessing Tarot card that the universe has sent to Yizhen, who feels trapped in a world of daily gloom: The Sensor.
The recent conversation with the client didn’t go smoothly. I could sense that the client wasn’t willing to open up emotionally or mentally. Their responses were brief, often devoid of any real meaning, leaving me feeling like I was performing a monologue. Occasionally, the client would interject with a question entirely unrelated to the previous discussion, which made it difficult to respond naturally.
In just thirty minutes, Yizhen’s replies, though sometimes complaints, were so brief and drained of energy that it felt as if even speaking required too much effort. With responses totaling less than a hundred words, I sensed Yizhen was caught in a closed-off emotional knot—wanting to break free yet lacking the strength to do so, desiring change yet not fully committed to it.
Perhaps, coming online to find someone to chat with has been the most proactive step Yizhen has taken recently. But it’s far from enough.
Initially, it could have been due to reality, to stress, to countless factors beyond our control, that we felt trapped. We’re like elephants tethered by a thin rope—intimidated into staying put even though we’ve grown strong enough to break free. In the end, we’re bound not by the rope, but by our own conditioning.
We know to seek help, but perhaps, we’re simply waiting, sitting in place for someone to rescue us. We don’t actively try to save ourselves, don’t use our hands to claw at the soil beside us. Even when logic tells us that if we don’t break free soon, we’ll be buried alive, gasping for breath, we continue passively awaiting someone else’s assistance.
I understand this feeling of helplessness and frustration, having been through it myself more than once. Don’t be too hard on yourself—sometimes we’re not even aware that we’re bound. Sometimes we lose focus, drifting through the day in a fog.
Yet, the fact that we haven’t given up on ourselves in this state is a great breakthrough. Don’t easily dismiss your efforts. The more lost you feel, the more important it is to open your inner antenna, as if standing on a vast prairie, sensing the direction of the wind, its scent, and its strength, and letting it carry away our sorrows.
Take in nature: standing before a towering tree, we realize our lives are short and fragile; before a majestic waterfall, our willpower and strength seem minuscule; among the colorful blooms, our creativity and ideas feel pale and constrained.
The universe’s message to Yizhen, embedded in The Sensor card, is filled with blessings and reminders. We have the power of spiritual communication; we are receivers in our entirety, capable of perceiving and penetrating the essence and truths of many things. But we must open our minds and our sensory antennae to receive, become aware, and, ultimately, to adjust and change.
Locking ourselves away may feel safe, but it only keeps us stagnant, unable to escape the mire, which, over time, turns into a perilous trap. Try starting with small changes, and as cracks appear in the hardened soil, gradually add more effort and positivity. You’ll find it easier to crawl out of the mud, move more freely, and build the strength to break free, taking strides toward a world of hope, brightness, and brilliance.
