Being one of my favorite distillery, I cannot miss out on their peated release!

Doubel Cask matured in 1st fill Bourbon & heavy charged Virgin Oak

Nose: Gentle smoke, caramel, vanilla pod.

Taste: Peat alert!! more than you expect from the nose. Then sweet caramel & vanilla coats you month with the oiliness. Very nice~

Finish: medium finish mostly peat but its enough!

A drop of water tames the sweetness a bit and brought forward a hint of lemon zest bitter, which actually made it more interesting!

On ice, peat was suppressed, caramel sweetness and zest bitter remains.. I think its better to have it straight up!
