Violinist Daishin Kashimoto plays as if he's dancing,
and if you mute the video, it almost looks like he's performing a mime.
He nods to the rhythm, steps forward, steps back, spins halfway around—
and when he plays a high note, he adds a “growing taller” magic move:
tiptoeing and leaning back!
After 80 minutes of performance,
it felt like he had done two rhythm exercise classes.
If musicians ever retire, it might just be from worn-out knees!(maybe?)
His eyesight must be amazing too—sometimes the sheet music is more than a
meter away,or his head is turned completely in the opposite direction.
You can't help but wonder, “Can he really still read the notes?”
But when it's time to turn the page, he never misses it~
