A weaver's fingertips are a miracle.
Watching threads gradually connect to become a knitted object with weight, that process always makes me dizzy. I am unable to discern whether the yarn is being swallowed in or spat out. It is clearly an act of neither more nor less after increases and decreases, yet the surface area of the finished product undoubtedly expands little by little."

Instead of announcing all participants at once, the exhibition reveals the works on a week-by-week basis via Cornerstone Gallery, inviting the audience to trace back and discover the artists through their creations.
What You don't Need is Exactly What I need
"For this exhibition, Phebea presents the series "What You don't Need is Exactly What I need," started in 2021 with Phebea's exhibition "On The Other Hand" at the Museum of Contemporary Art Taipei. Phebea aimed to challenge conventional thinking by inviting the use of everyday human experiences in their work, creating a low barrier for entry. Visitors were encouraged to experience a shift in perspective and reflect on the question, "Can we think differently about what we overlook?"
In 2021, as a curator, Phebea aspired to challenge conventional norms through deeper practice, where the curator poses the questions, and the artists respond through their work. This gave rise to the creative project 'Your Unwanted is My Wanted,' in which she also participated as an artist. The concept suggests that one person's 'unwanted' might be exactly what another 'needs.' On the other hand, it implies that what I discard could be precisely what you seek. What I take for granted as a given may, through your eyes, unfold as an entirely different narrative.
After creating "Mosaic or Malta", I became fascinated with the rhythmic addition and subtraction of lines. By expanding and contracting at a constant rate around the center, I watch the piece steadily grow within my palms into its final form.
To find an eternal constancy amidst the frequent impermanence of life—that is exactly what I yearn for.
