About The Trip of wedding cake

Here is a place for me to practice English.
If you found any faults in my article, please feel free to let me know, thanks.
    -----------------------------------------
On 11th, Jan., we registered in Household Registration Office.
In our case, we don't plan to hold a wedding ceremony, but we give wedding cakes to our family and friends.
So we made a small plan, it was called "Trip of wedding cake".
We sent cakes to friends of in South Taiwan from 11th to 12th, and sent cakes to friends of in Middle and north Taiwan from 13th to 14th. I think that was a tiring trip for my husband.
Because most of these friends are mine, not his. He only could drive the car and take the cakes to me, then waited for me again and again, until I ended up chatting with my friends. I appreciated him for everything on this trip.
On the trip, I have seen many good friends from my life, even though we had been a long time to see each other. We still could talk nonstop. Some of them wanted to give me a red envelope, and I declined.
Because I didn't hold a wedding ceremony, I just wanted to share the good news with them. For me, I could make a date with them is the best thing.
