I actually finished writing this post at the end of August last year, almost 7 months ago! The post has been sitting in Baba's inbox waiting for his translation... Now that we're more settled in Oxford and I've finally submitted my 2nd revised PhD paper for publication, I thought, "If not now, then when?".. If anyone wants to read a Chinese translation, do drop us a comment on Facebook and I can nag Baba haha.
After visiting Wat Pa Dara Phirom (featured in our last post), the nearest restaurant was Rim Phi Rom (also featured last time)… It was a rainy day, so we felt like soup. I ordered northern style duck soup, while Baba ordered Tom Kha Gai.
After visiting Mae Sa waterfall (featured in our last post), the nearest café was Fleur cafe offering yummy local food and floral-themed drinks. A lovely flower garden in the countryside!
We found the nearest café to us, just round the corner, which is basically a room in someone’s front garden! It’s called Leisure cafe.. We like to idle away time there, as do the boys. They love the strawberry milk. The atmosphere is Japanese zen.. Everytime we go, we're the only people there!
Psst.. I'm writing this in an Oxford cafe and it is not as nice as the ones featured above! Alright, signing off now, time to pick up R!
