怕犯錯 make mistakes

I don't like the word "make mistakes"; it makes me feel that making errors is bad. During my childhood, I often got scolded for making mistakes. Over time, I became hesitant to try new things because I always felt that if I did, I would make mistakes.
Doing things correctly is good, but making mistakes is not inherently bad. Failure is the mother of success. What we should fear is not realizing when we are wrong.
Let's suppose that Einstein, while designing the lightbulb, didn't recognize errors in his experimental process. If he kept repeating the same steps for 10 or 20 years without seeking improvement, the lightbulb would never have been commercialized.
