原本是想放在[演算法推薦清單]的。
其實，歌曲不是網路演算法推薦的，是 Bear 在等炸雞時聽到的🍗
(在外面吃東西好像很容易聽到好歌🤣🤣🤣)一開始是想單純介紹歌曲，結果想介紹的歌愈來愈多，乾脆做普通的歌手介紹好了😁
Dean Lewis，澳洲創作歌手以及詞曲作家，於2016年因〈Waves〉開始活躍於公眾視野，隨後他出了多首單曲，也跟不同音樂人如 DJ-Martin Garrix 合作。
關於這次合作他說:「起初我覺得這首歌最終聽起來會像出自於他人之手，結果當所有音軌合在一起播放時，這首歌不只聽起來有我的樣子，也很有 Martin 的風格。」
於2022年釋出的〈How Do I Say Goodbye〉更是讓他聲名大噪，也讓他在 APRA Awards (Australasian Performing Right Association Awards) 中，獲得 Most Performed Australian Work 以及 Most Performed Pop Work 兩個獎項。
Dean Lewis 的聲音非常特別，讓他的歌曲別有特色。
開頭時輕輕的吟唱似是呢喃，也像是旁白，為一個愛情故事開場，聲音雖輕柔純淨，卻能使聽眾隱約感覺到故事破碎的結局。
副歌時爆發力的嗓音，像是嘶吼，又像是吶喊，混合著沙啞的聲線，將拉扯糾結的情感全部展露。
層層堆疊的情緒，伴隨樂曲的升調，還有標誌性的-強而有力的鼓聲，Dean Lewi 最大限度地展現一個故事中的掙扎及悔恨，而聽眾也會被輕而易舉地拉入故事中，一起唱、一起笑、一起哭。

喜歡 Dean Lewis 歌詞，簡單卻又絲絲入扣。
在〈Used To Love〉這首歌中，最喜歡的不是主歌，也不是副歌，而是最後不斷重複的:
But I can't escape, you're still in my head
I'm running from, I'm running from the emptiness
這讓我想到「回憶」的特性。
「回憶」由人的大腦產生，根據需求分門別類儲存在大腦深處，視情況不斷拿出、更新或刪除。
這樣看來，「回憶」好似是為人服務的。
然而每當夜深人靜準備入睡時，那些不好的記憶就會從腦海深處湧現，如同惡鬼從十八層地獄慢慢爬出，在我最毫無防備的時候，狠狠揍我一拳(或兩拳)。
明明腦中塞得滿滿的，心裡卻空空的。就像歌詞說的一樣。
而且，愈不想要想起什麼，就愈容易想起來。
這個時候，我才發現，不是我控制「回憶」，而是「回憶」控制著我。
然而，再怎麼想也於事無補，反而徒增悲傷。
就像 Dean Lewis 所唱 "We can't go back to the way that we used to love"
無論是愛，還是恨，都過去了。回不去了，也沒必要回去。
