By the Founder of the New Covenant of Power
We live in a world imprisoned by two illusions: that competition is a hierarchy of superiority, and that power is a prize to be hoarded. For too long, our systems have reduced human potential to a narrow ranking, dividing talent into “valuable” and “worthless,” and letting luck and innate gifts become benchmarks for resource hoarding. What I propose—the New Covenant of Power—is not mere reform, but a radical reimagining of how we distribute value, govern ourselves, and honor the inherent equality of human potential.
This is not an abstract philosophy. It is a framework forged from observing the failures of both collectivism and unregulated individualism: the stagnation of top-down control, the cruelty of unbridled competition. Its core is a system that transcends arbitrary inequalities of luck and talent, empowers individuals while safeguarding the collective, and builds coexistence between humans and AI—not domination.
Let us start with a foundational truth: talent is not a scarce commodity, but a universal allocation. Every human has 100 units of potential—no more, no less. The difference lies in which gifts are activated by a system that rewards only marketable skills, and which are buried. Traditional competition distorts this reality, ranking people by metrics like wealth or academic performance, and dismissing artists, caregivers, and thinkers whose work lacks immediate profit. This stratification turns talent into a tool for inequality, not collective prosperity.
The New Covenant rejects this hierarchy with one core mechanism: mandatory government contracts for public-value innovation. This is not coercion—it is protection. When a creator develops a breakthrough idea, the government provides compensation far above the average wage, while democratizing the innovation via AI and mechanization for public good. It shields small inventors from corporate exploitation and preserves “useless” ideas that may reshape civilization decades later, with a 20-year contract term balancing reward and accountability.
To prevent tyranny, we split governance into four decentralized stages—Conception, Deliberation, Adjudication, Execution—each subdivided and overseen by rotating councils. AI acts as an objective guardian, not a ruler, with open databases to root out bias. Power is fragmented like a river—impossible to block with a single stone.
Critics claim this breeds laziness or erodes freedom. But true freedom is not hoarding resources while others starve; it is pursuing passion without fear of poverty. Human ambition thrives on meaning, not survival pressure. This system also celebrates cultural diversity, using translation tech to build bridges instead of forcing uniformity.
The unrest in Minneapolis is a symptom of a system that confuses power with force. The New Covenant offers a cure: power as a covenant, talent as a birthright, survival as a collective endeavor. It is not a utopia. It is a choice—and it starts with us.
