When a soul intends to get as much out of life as possible without giving, that soul cannot find real and lasting happiness and joy: for it is in thinking of and living for others that one finds deep inner joy and contentment. No one can live unto themselves and be happy. Whenever you find yourself with a feeling of discontent and dissatisfaction in life, you may be sure it is because you have stopped thinking of others and have become too wrapped up in yourself. The way to change is to start thinking of someone else and do something for them so that the self is completely forgotten. There are so many souls in need that there is always something you can do for someone else. So why not open your eyes and open your heart, and let light show you the way, let love guide your actions. Let my love infill and enfold you and be at perfect peace.
當一個靈魂想要在生活中盡可能地索取卻不付出時，那個靈魂無法找到真正的、恆久的快樂與愉悅；因為是在為他人著想為他人而活之中，一個人找到內在深處的愉悅與滿足。沒有人可以只為自己而活，並感到快樂。無論何時，當我發現我自己在生活中感到不平、不滿時，我也許可以肯定，這是因為我停止了考慮他人，並太過被自己所包裹了。去改變的方法是開始想一想其他人，為他們做一些什麼，讓自我被完全地忘卻。有那麼多需要幫助的靈魂，總是會有我能夠為某個人做的某件事。因此為何不睜開我的雙眼、敞開我的內心，讓光照亮我的道路，讓愛引導我的行動。讓上天的愛填入並充滿我，然後進入完美的寧靜。
