這幾週比較忙...打工去...今午交稿後..該花點時間整理家裏囉...於是也找音樂聽...
之前找到一個很棒的樂評網誌(但一直沒時間看)...提到"搖滾主唱必學！鈴鼓的正確用法"

Steven Siro "Steve" Vai (born June 6, 1960) is an American rock guitarist, songwriter, vocalist, producer, beekeeper, and actor. After starting his professional career as a music transcriptionist for Frank Zappa, Vai would also record and tour in Zappa's backing band starting in 1980. The guitarist began a solo career starting in 1984 and has released 13 solo albums as of 2008. Apart from his work with Frank Zappa, Vai has also recorded and toured with numerous musical artists including Alcatrazz, David Lee Roth and Whitesnake. Vai has been a regular touring member of the G3 Concert Tour which began in 1996. In 1999 Vai started his own record label Favored Nations with the intent to showcase, as Vai describes: "...artists that have attained the highest performance level on their chosen instruments."[1]

VAI的簡單介紹:
於1960年出生於紐約，倍受讚揚的吉他手Steve Vai於高中時開始學吉他。當時他跟著當地的吉他老師Joe Satriani(現在是著名的獨奏吉他手)學習。高中畢業以後，Vai就讀於波士頓的Berklee音樂學院，之後便至Los Angeles去尋找自己的發跡機會。在一年之內，他專注於誇大怪異的音樂家Frank Zappa，, Zappa也對於Vai不可思議的吉他技術以及擁有許多有關於Zappa的曲目的知識而對Vai有相當大的印象及興趣。Vai很快的就加入了Zappa的樂團，並擔任表演吉他手一職，而獲得了最天才的硬式搖滾吉他手的讚譽。

有朋友說:「For the Love of God...Steve Vai的經典作，這是電吉他高手中的高手才弄得出來的。不知道怎麼跟妳說我們對Vai的尊敬，有人說他的音樂，放在中古歐洲會被教宗砍頭，因為就像巫術一樣．．．深植人心，撤改心魂。for the god of love就是這樣，還有12小節blues的梵音，很多人吉他演奏曲選這首」

steve vai的簡介就如樓上所說...我只能提供我對他的音樂的感覺...他的歌我所聽的第一首就是"The crying machine"...就是他開始音我注意steve vai的...當時的我很難去想像吉他...甚至樂句活生生的在對話...沒錯...就是在對話...你可以深刻的體驗樂句中情緒的高低起伏...兩個相似又相異的tone一搭一唱...這也使我深深的愛上演奏曲...在我所聽的音樂中...steve vai的音樂展現的華麗又不平凡的情感...在技巧中.樂句旋律中.效果使用中.等...似乎將他的體驗使用他"華麗又不平凡的情感"表意...另一首更寫實的歌"For the love of god"...聽說(祇是聽說而已啦)他為了深刻寫出這首個的意境...餓了幾天的肚子...很慘的下場...不過這首歌真的令人非常感動...
當然這是一個創作家的風格...不過在外在部分...他的吉他.效果器.音箱也是佔有極大的影響...真的很難模仿他的意境...可能也要餓肚子吧...
