數位虛擬作品<Virtualscape>與<Mindscape>系列,主要是在觀測兩組不同空間GPS的影音數位訊息,藉此影像比對兩個GPS時空、網絡、人文社會的變化,反映著跨地域者人生的矛盾,以及內在網路碎片的漩渦。影像不僅是現象的再現,也是通往另一個時空的通道;藉由此系列影像的通道,成為凝結的瞬間、異鄉的想望、怡然自得的凝視,在觀察者內心形成新的連結、新的存在,就像是<Virtualscape>飄蕩在虛空宇宙的碎片。藉由靜態影像轉換成連播影像,融合空間音場錄製的聲音,還原出數位資料遺留下來人事物空間的軌跡,產生如臨現場之氛圍,瞬時再現的時空。碎裂重疊的繪畫、攝影、影像表現不同維度的虛擬世界,不斷從一個通道串聯到另一個維度,就有如現代人類生活在虛擬化、AI化、科技化的時代,巨量科技逐漸取代傳統生活體驗,人、事、物都看似連結卻又無限離散,因緣相聚、緣盡分離,我們或許慢慢進入無限維度的通道。
The artist's short films and digital virtual works in the "Virtualscape" and "Mindscape" series mainly observe the audio-visual digital information of two different spatial GPS locations. Through this comparison, the works reflect the contradictions in the lives of transregional individuals and the vortex of internal network fragments. Images are not only reproductions of phenomena but also portals to another dimension. Through this series of image channels, the artist captures moments of condensation, the desire for the unfamiliar, and a contemplative gaze, forming new connections and new existence within the observer's heart, much like the fragments of "Virtualscape" drifting in the void of the universe. By transforming static images into continuous play and integrating spatial sound recordings, the artist recreates the traces of people, things, and spaces left in digital data, generating an atmosphere as if being present at the scene, an instantaneous representation of time and space. The fragmented and overlapping expressions in painting, photography, and imagery depict the virtual world of different dimensions, continuously connecting from one channel to another dimension. This mirrors the era in which modern humans live in a virtual, AI-driven, and technological age, where vast amounts of technology gradually replace traditional life experiences, and things seem connected yet infinitely dispersed, meeting and parting due to fate, slowly entering an infinite dimension channels.
