I am an illustrator, mainly of picture books based in Longnor, Staffordshire.I graduated in 2006 from the North East Wales School of Art and Design after studying Illustration for Childrens Publishing and have been penciling and painting professionally ever since.

My first author/ illustrator title, 'Little Mouses Big Breakfast' was published in 2016 by Nosy Crow. I use watercolour, gouache, pencils and potatoes to create my illustrations.

Dan studied illustration during his time at university and it was there that his interest in children’s illustration flourished. He has worked as a freelance illustrator for a number or years and works in a variety of media, including traditional painting techniques combined with digital.

Dan finds inspiration for his work comes from a love of design of the 1950s and 60s. His design heroes are Mary Blair, Alexander Girard and Charles and Ray Eames.

He obsessively collects mid 20th century and Scandinavian furniture, drinks tea by the gallon and lives with a mischievous dog called Bertie.

I’m Daniela Sosa, author/illustrator originally from Romania and currently based in Cambridge, UK.I am a graduate of the Children’s Book Illustrations MA course at the Cambridge School of Art.

My main focus is children’s books, but I also enjoy doing other types of illustration work. I work mostly digitally but like to create the look of traditional media in my illustrations.

My name is Giovana Medeiros I am a freelance illustrator from Brazil based in Lisbon. As it usually goes, I always enjoyed drawing in one way or another, and when the time came to choose I career I intended to keep doing that. I studied Fashion Design and worked as print designer for textiles for a few years, but that was not enough drawing for me! So in 2011 after I moved to Dublin to study English for a year, I decided to go a bit further and got a Diploma in Illustration by BCFE.Since 2015 I've been working as a freelance illustrator, and : I am always drawing. Always. I have worked in close to 50 books for publishers around the world, as well as other miscellaneous projects.Drawing is just second nature to me, I can say I do it almost daily. After completing a first degree in Illustration BA (Hons) at the University of Lincoln she dived into a career as an illustrator. Lucy's work is influenced by her love of story-telling and nature. Marta Álvarez is an author and children´s book illustrator living in A Coruña, Spain.She graduated in Psychology from the University of Santiago de Compostela in 2001, however her real passion was always drawing doodles in the margins of the notebooks.

Marta debuts in 2002 writing and illustrating her first picture book "¡Cómo está o galiñeiro!" published by Xerais. Since then, she has worked for several Spanish and international publishing houses.

In 2007 her artwork was selected and exhibited at the Bratislava Biennial of Illustration (BIB). She illustrated "Shark Lady: The True Story of How Eugenie Clark Became the Ocean´s Most Fearless Scientist", which was named one of the Best Children´s Books of 2017 by Parents Magazine, and won the Blue Spruce Award in 2018. She also painted the funny and charming illustrations of "What is Poo?", which won the Silver Award at the Junior Design Awards 2017.

Mark is an illustrator and author of children's picture books and young fiction.He studied illustration at university and has since been represented by the London and New York Illustration agency, Bright Group International. He has illustrated children’s books written by Kes Gray, Lucy Rowland, Alison Steadman, Charlie Higson and Alex English to name but a few.

Mark was shortlisted for the Roald Dahl Funny Prize in 2013 and won the Sheffield Children's Picture Book Prize in the same year. My Hamster is a Genius written by Dave Lowe was also Highly Commended.Mark was shortlisted for the AOI World Illustration Awards with his piece, 'We Will Remember'!

Noémie grew up in a small coastal town of New-Brunswick, Canada, surrounded by the ocean. Growing up, she told everyone she wanted to become either a doctor, or a children’s book illustrator. Midway through med school, she decided she would do both. She now shares her time between the hospital (where she works as a Rheumatologist) and her home studio, where she sketches, draws and paints surrounded by her wife, two sons, and two cats. O03.Oksana Drachkovska

Oksana was born and grew up in Chernivtsi, Ukraine. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lviv and made the city her home for over a decade, until Russia's invasion forced her to flee. She then started selling prints of her work to raise funds for those left in Ukraine. "I realised that everything can be a weapon against evil, even art."

Oksana finds her inspiration in trees, the ocean, birds, clouds and people. "Every person I meet gives me a better understanding of myself. I like to play with metaphors. I'm one of those people who find it easier to think on paper."
