向外國人介紹台灣⛰️－簡報 PPT、英文逐字稿分享🏮

2025年 我透過 扶輪社 新世代服務交換 (New Generations Service Exchange，簡稱NGSE) 🌟 至 德國 進行 專業交換 ✈️🌍，並有機會 用英文 介紹台灣 🇹🇼。當時，介紹台灣只是我報告的一小篇幅，所以只準備 10分鐘的簡報 🎤。雖然篇幅短，但由於準備期間曾受惠於其他前輩的經驗分享 💬，所以還是希望能分享我如何介紹台灣，讓大家在介紹台灣給外國朋友時能有更多靈感和參考 ✨。

以下簡報內容是我 去蕪存菁，留下我真正想介紹的台灣，以及我認為 比較少外國人知道、但有趣的台灣文化 🌈。逐字稿則考慮到我的聽眾不是英文母語者，所以盡量用 簡單的單字 呈現，如果想使用可自行斟酌調整 。

Now, I would like to introduce my home country—Taiwan. This is a picture of our most famous landmark, Taipei 101. And this is how it looks during New Year’s Eve. We count down and set off fireworks from the building to celebrate the New Year.

實在太想讓大家看到 放煙火的台北101 有多漂亮 🎆，但因為沒打算介紹台灣景點，所以硬是把台北101放到封面，也順便展現台灣在亞洲的 地理位置 🗺️。

Taiwan is an island located between two tectonic plates. These plates push against each other, which formed the island of Taiwan.

As you can see on the map, we have many mountains in the central part of the island. The highest one is Jade Mountain, which is nearly 4,000 meters high.

In the west, we have flatlands, so most people live on the western side. In the east, there are more mountains and cliffs. If you take a close look at this picture, you’ll see that the road is built between steep rocky cliffs—you can imagine how difficult it is to develop this area.

台灣的迷人之處在於 獨特的地理環境 🌏，小小海島卻有 近 4000 公尺的高山 ⛰️，東、西部的景色又 截然不同 🌅🌄，如此造就的 生態多樣性 🐦🌿 是我最愛台灣的地方，也是讓許多外國朋友驚訝的事實。

Our official language is Mandarin, and we write in traditional Chinese. This is what traditional Chinese looks like, and here is simplified Chinese, which is used in China.

Besides Mandarin, people in Taiwan also speak different languages depending on their background. For example, many people speak Hokkien or Hakka—these groups came to Taiwan from China hundreds of years ago. We also have 16 officially recognized indigenous groups, each with their own language. So in total, there are at least 19 different languages spoken in Taiwan!

Let me show you how they sound. If you want to say “Hello, everyone” it would sound like this in different languages:（示範不同語言的「大家好」）（Mihumisang 布農語, inabayan 卑南語, nga'ay ho 阿美語）

之前聽朋友分享，外國朋友聽到 台灣有原住民 時很意外，所以想讓更多人知道台灣除了和中國有淵源外，還有一部分的台灣人是 土生土長的原住民 🌿。尤其我們竟然有 16 種不同原住民族群 🧬，想想就覺得這個 多樣性 非常驚人 ✨。

我最後一口氣示範了 中文、閩南語、客家語、布農語、卑南語、阿美語六種語言的「大家好」 👋🗣️，台下觀眾們立刻發出了 驚呼聲 👏。

Now I’d like to share some fun facts about Taiwan!

Before I go on, let me play you a short audio clip. Garbage trucks drive through the streets while playing Für Elise by Beethoven. When people hear the music, they know it’s time to take out the trash. So if you ever hear Für Elise on the street in Taiwan… don’t expect a concert—it’s just trash time!

Next, here’s a photo of a famous street food called Taiwanese sausage. The red one is pork sausage, and the white one is made of sticky rice. We usually put them together, add some vegetables and sauce, and eat it like a sandwich. It’s very tasty!

Another fun fact about Taiwan is this snack—Kuai Kuai. In Taiwan, we place a green Kuai Kuai snack on machine because “Kuai Kuai” means “behave well.” People believe the green package will help machines keep working properly. So if you visit a Taiwanese company, be sure to look for one!

This is the Lantern Festival, which marks the end of the Lunar New Year celebrations. In the north, people release sky lanterns to pray for good luck.

這是我 非常喜歡的段落 ❤️，因為與其介紹 美食、景點、歷史 等早已有很多人分享的資訊，我更想讓他們知道 只有在台灣生活過才會知道、令人莞爾一笑的台灣文化 😄🌟。

1️⃣ 給愛麗絲 這首曲 對德國人而言 是 非常經典的古典樂 🎶，被應用在 垃圾車 上會讓他們 大吃一驚 😲🚛。
2️⃣ 介紹 大腸包小腸 是針對 德國香腸 去做對照 🌭。
3️⃣ 介紹 乖乖 時，大家反應非常熱烈 🔥，台灣的迷信文化 真的無人能企及 🔮。

第5頁－有趣的事實：鹽水蜂炮

In the south, we celebrate with firecrackers. People gather around as firecrackers explode in the middle, and the more you get hit, the luckier you’ll be! It’s considered one of the most dangerous festivals in the world. Now, let me show you a video!

赤❣️の內心劇場：
介紹 鹽水蜂炮 的靈感來自於我當初在 馬爾他遊學 時 🇲🇹，朋友問我台灣有沒有 很瘋狂的活動 🤯，我當時向他介紹了鹽水蜂炮。而他 超乎我預期的驚訝反應，讓我蠻意外的。

這次要和德國人介紹台灣時，我又想起了這件事，一查才知道 鹽水蜂炮被評選為世界上最危險的慶典之一 🔥⚠️。

如同我所預期的，鹽水蜂炮也是大家 反應非常熱烈的段落 🔥✨。特別是搭配影片讓大家看到實際情況後，這個 瘋狂的慶典 讓他們既 震驚 😳 又覺得 有趣 😄。

第6頁－民間信仰

Most people in Taiwan believe in folk religion, and we have many gods responsible for different tasks. When making big life decisions, people often go to a temple for guidance. For example, if I’m choosing a university, I might go there to ask for guidance.

The first thing I’ll do is to burn incense to let the gods know I’m here to ask for help. Then, we draw a fortune stick, each with a number on it that matches a poem. But before reading it, we ask the gods if this is the right message—by tossing moon blocks. One side is flat and the other is round. If they land one flat and one round, the gods say yes. Only then do we read the poem to see what message the gods want to share.

So yes—that’s how our religion works, we often ask the gods to back up our decisions, just to be safe!

赤❣️の內心劇場：
宗教信仰 也是外國朋友會好奇的主題，但這段的反應 相對平淡 。可能是因為內容 不太好理解，再加上許多國家的 宗教形式大同小異，或者宗教本身是個 嚴肅的話題，所以沒有像其他內容一樣引起太多共鳴。

我想如果有 聖筊 讓大家實際體驗一下 🔮，應該會變得 非常有趣。
