原來,去年 11月公司有頒布新的休假政策,加入了 Cultural Leave,每位正式員工,依其宗教信仰,文化背景,每年可以請一天有薪假,參與相關慶典或者活動。以下就是關於 Cultural Leave規定的條文
Cultural Leave
We recognises religious and cultural diversity of our employees. Cultural leave allows employees to manage their cultural and religious commitments. Cultural leave is in addition to Compassionate / Emergency Leave. 我們認同員工多元的宗教與文化背景,Cultural Leave讓員工能安排參與實踐文化或宗教上的承諾,也可以和喪假事故假一起申請
What you get 休假天數
1 day of paid cultural leave per year. If you require more support, please speak with your leader. As a guide, you may take up to 10 days of cultural leave without pay over 2 years. 每年有一天有薪的 Cultural Leave,如果有需要延長,可以跟直屬主管討論,原則上,兩年內可以請最多十天無薪的 Cultural Leave

Cultural leave includes the celebration of NAIDOC Week for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians.
Cultutal Leave包括澳洲原住民與托利海峽島民的 NAIDOC 週慶典( National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee Week)
Leave will be considered on a case by case basis and will be approved, provided it includes a religious observance or ceremonial obligation.
是否准假依個案決定,需提出有參與宗教儀式或慶典的義務
Any ceremonial obligation which falls on a weekend or Public Holiday, does not require the support of our company for the observance and a substituted leave day will not be granted.
如果慶典期間在周末或公眾假期,不另行補假
