原酒 vs 普飲 系列 (一) 布納哈本12年

價差三倍、有沒有三倍好喝!?

布納哈本12年普飲一直是平價(一張內)的好選擇。46.3%更是誠意十足。2021出了第一批批次原酒時就很心動，但台灣的價位讓我猶豫不決。2022批次在國際市場大獲好評，雖然台灣價格還是不低，但終究敵不過好奇心~

先講結論: 雖然兩支規格都波本+雪莉，但真的不是同一種產品。普飲12年多了一絲煙燻&海水鹹感，有一定的鑑別度。原酒~哇!! 濃郁等級直接給他催下去! 油脂的包覆讓風味完整釋放! 有沒有三倍好喝很難說，但初嘗的驚艷應該有三倍爽感!

相似處: 初聞的果乾 & 黑糖香。

不同處:

布納哈本12年 普飲 46.3%

比起原酒，聞香多了微微的煙燻，品飲多一分海水鹹感。尾韻中帶一絲苦甜。

布納哈本12年 2022 批次原酒 56.6%

聞香、品飲皆濃郁許多，明顯偏向雪莉風味。油脂感包覆口腔，酒漬果乾、木質單寧。滴水後釋放出太妃糖的甜感。尾韻悠長且帶有黑巧克力香和白胡椒辛。

Bunnahabhain 12 CR vs CS

12 year Core Range 46.3%

Nose: brown sugar, dry fruits, hint of wood (smoke).

Palate: briny, alcohol hits right away, raisins

Finish: long, aromatic with a hint of bitterness

12 year Cask Strength 56.6% (2022 edition)

Nose: raisin, toffee, you can kinda smell the sweetness (yeah right)

Palate: oh… the oiliness, coats your tongue with gentle sweetness, oak tannin, dry dates, rum raisin.

Finish: long, chocolate, slight peppery.

First nose was similar but the similarity ends there. The CS really intensifies on the sweetness. The oiliness really made a difference. After a few drops of water, it got even sweeter. Though the briny & wood (smoke) of the core range does made it more distinguishable, I think CS won me over this time!
