Members of Songshan Community College Thai Culture Association of Taipeiattended the 'Royal Thai String Orchestra Concert Celebrating the King's 72nd Birthday
松山社區大學泰國文化體驗社於2024年4月24日,榮幸參與「泰皇72誕辰奏鳴榮耀弦樂團音樂會」,標誌著2024年泰國文化週活動的華麗開幕。此次音樂會由來自泰國的甘拉雅妮‧瓦塔娜公主音樂學院弦樂團演出,超過40位樂手聯袂呈現,演奏泰皇浦美蓬陛下創作的6首經典曲目,分別是Still on My Mind;Somewhere Somehow;Love in Spring;Lullaby;Nature Waltz;A Love Story Kinari Suite等,以及多首深受喜愛的泰國及台灣名曲。
松山社區大學執行秘書蔡明憲、泰國文化體驗社指導老師陳怡瑄、社群編輯李昭儀以及學員林宜瑩,財團法人觀音根滿慈善基金會執行長王永才也特別出席此次盛會。松山社區大學泰國文化體驗社作為一直致力於推廣泰國文化的社區組織,此次參與是為了進一步強化學生與泰國文化之間的聯繫,並且提供一個與國際藝術家交流的平台。透過這樣的活動,社團成員不僅能夠欣賞到高水準的古典音樂表演,還能加深對泰國音樂與文化的理解和欣賞。
在音樂會上,泰皇浦美蓬陛下所創作的音樂作品,如《Still on My Mind》、《Somewhere Somehow》和《Love in Spring》等,以其獨特的東南亞旋律,融合古典與現代的元素,展現泰國音樂的豐富多樣性和深刻情感。此外,選自泰國與台灣的知名曲目也為現場增添了一份特別的國際友誼與文化共鳴。
隨著「2024年泰國週」的系列活動將繼續進行,包括泰國美食節和泰國文化節等,松山社區大學泰國文化體驗社期待繼續參與和促進更多關於泰國的文化交流活動,進一步增進台灣與泰國之間的文化理解與友好關係。
On April 24, 2024, the Songshan Community College Thai Culture Association of Taipei participated in the "the String Orchestra Concert on the Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty the King’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary," marking the grand opening of the 2024 Thai Culture Week. The concert, held at Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music in Thailand, featured over 40 musicians. They performed six pieces by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, including "Still on My Mind," "Somewhere Somehow," and "Love in Spring," which showcased unique Southeast Asian melodies blending classical and modern elements, highlighting the richness and emotional depth of Thai music. The program also included beloved songs from both Thailand and Taiwan, fostering international friendship and cultural resonance.
Notable attendees included Ming-Hsien Tsai, Executive Secretary of Songshan Community College; Yi-Hsuan Chen, advisor to the Thai Culture Association; Zhao-Yi Li, community editor; Yi-Ying Lin, student; and Yong-Tsai Wang, CEO of the Guanyingen Man Charitable Foundation. The association's involvement in this event reflects its commitment to promoting Thai culture and enhancing cultural understanding and relations between Taiwan and Thailand. As "Thai Culture Week 2024" continues with events like the Thai Food Festival and Thai Culture Festival, the association looks forward to furthering cultural exchange and deepening ties between Taiwan and Thailand.
