The Ten Lepers
Jesus was walking toward a village one afternoon when He saw ten men standing far away. They were sick with leprosy, a disease that covered their skin with painful sores.
Because of their illness, they had to live outside the town.
When they saw Jesus, they cried out together,
“Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”
Jesus looked at them with kindness. “Go,” He said, “and show yourselves to the priests.”
The men turned and began walking.
As they walked, something amazing happened—their skin began to heal. The sores disappeared. Their hands and faces looked normal again!
They were healed.
The ten men shouted with joy and ran to show their families.
But one man stopped. He turned back.
He ran to Jesus, fell to the ground, and said,
“Thank You, Lord.”
Jesus smiled. “Were not ten healed? Where are the others?”
Then He said, “Rise and go. Your faith has made you well.”
