2️⃣ Today's Reading

Isaac and the Invisible Library
It started with a game of hide-and-seek.
Isaac ducked behind the big bookshelf in the school’s basement storage room. As he leaned against the wall, he felt a click.
Crrk.
A panel shifted. A soft wind brushed his face.
Behind the shelf was a narrow staircase, lit by floating candles. At the bottom: a golden door with no handle. Across it were the words: “Ask, and it shall open.”
Isaac blinked. “Where am I?”
He whispered, “Library?”
The door swung open.
He stepped inside. Shelves stretched up and up into the clouds. Some books flew past him. Others whispered their titles. A globe floated nearby, spinning silently. On the wall: maps of places he’d never seen, some labeled in glowing letters.
He opened a book and saw the story changing as he read. His own name appeared.
Suddenly, a voice behind him said, “Welcome, Reader.”
It was an owl—wearing glasses.
“You are now inside the Invisible Library. Only the curious may enter.”
Isaac smiled. “Can I stay forever?”
The owl chuckled. “You can always return—every time you open a book.”
When he stepped back into the storage room, the wall had closed again.
But in his backpack was a book that hadn’t been there before.
