22/09/2019Melbourne, AustraliaDear Yiling,It feels like we are travelling back in time...back to the old days we wrote about our daily lives... your student days in the Arts College in Taiwan and new challenging life as an uni student and then a freshman working in Japan! And I, as the immigrant with my family settling in the far far away heavenly land in the bottom of Southern Hemisphere called New Zealand and started embracing my love in arts....It was such a melting pot of different cultures, experiences, emotions and adapting to the new lives for both of us at that time! I sent each letters with the hope it would not get lost in the air travelling between countries and with the excitement of sharing my thoughts and experiences.Thank you so much for making me such an unique notebook, I love it!!! It is just what I need at the moment, don’t think I can get anything better than this one from the shops!Talking about books...Much like yourself, I used to dip myself into the books, sometimes just to get away from it all. And could stay up all night binge reading my favourite novels! It’s one of the reasons why I started creating this For the Love of Books art collection. And this one, is for you.The pages carry you away, free as birds. And your love affair with the printed pages is like the birds gliding with the wind.Love,Angela
