◎作者簡介

1.凱蒂‧黛恩絲（Katie Daynes）
是童書編輯、作家以及兒童節目配音員。 參與英國出版社Usborne許多圖書的創作，例如See Inside系列和Usborne Young Reading系列作品。

Katie has been writing non-fiction children's books for almost half her life and loves questioning the world from a child's point of view. She's developed some of Usborne's bestselling series, including the See Inside books and Lift-the-flap Questions and Answers. When she's not writing, she likes drinking coffee, walking on the moors and playing competitive board games with her children.

2.Rose Hall
Rose grew up in Northumberland, studied Physiology at Oxford and looked after orphaned orangutans for a bit. She worked in the charity sector for ten years, writing about issues from renewable energy, to the safety of workers in Bangladesh. For Usborne, she's written books about engineering, business, computers and the environment.

◎繪者簡介

1.瑪塔‧阿瓦雷‧米格恩斯(Marta Alvarez Miguens)
出生於西班牙加利西亞地區的小鎮。創作風格明亮、童趣，自2002年起成為專職插畫家後，瑪塔曾為Usborne、Oxford University Press、Santillana、Anaya及其他知名出版社繪製作品。

Marta Álvarez is an author and children´s book illustrator living in A Coruña, Spain.She graduated in Psychology from the University of Santiago de Compostela in 2001, however her real passion was always drawing doodles in the margins of the notebooks.

Marta debuts in 2002 writing and illustrating her first picture book "¡Cómo está o galiñeiro!" published by Xerais. Since then, she has worked for several Spanish and international publishing houses.

In 2007 her artwork was selected and exhibited at the Bratislava Biennial of Illustration (BIB). She illustrated "Shark Lady: The True Story of How Eugenie Clark Became the Ocean´s Most Fearless Scientist", which was named one of the Best Children´s Books of 2017 by Parents Magazine, and won the Blue Spruce Award in 2018. She also painted the funny and charming illustrations of "What is Poo?", which won the Silver Award at the Junior Design Awards 2017.

2.Amy Willcox
Amy Willcox studied illustration at Falmouth University, Cornwall and now works as a freelance illustrator at her home in Norwich, where she lives with her husband James, daughter Elsie, son Miles and Alfie the dog. She loves to draw and create interesting characters.

3.Mark Chambers

Mark is an illustrator and author of children's picture books and young fiction.

He studied illustration at university and has since been represented by the London and New York Illustration agency, Bright Group International. He has illustrated children’s books written by Kes Gray, Lucy Rowland, Alison Steadman, Charlie Higson and Alex English to name but a few.

Mark was shortlisted for the Roald Dahl Funny Prize in 2013 and won the Sheffield Children's Picture Book Prize in the same year. My Hamster is a Genius written by Dave Lowe was also Highly Commended.

Mark was shortlisted for the AOI World Illustration Awards with his piece, 'We Will Remember'!

Mark lives and works in the french mountains with his wife and their two dogs.

4.Daniela Sosa

I’m Daniela Sosa, author/illustrator originally from Romania and currently based in Cambridge, UK.

I am a graduate of the Children’s Book Illustrations MA course at the Cambridge School of Art.

My main focus is children’s books, but I also enjoy doing other types of illustration work. I work mostly digitally but like to create the look of traditional media in my illustrations.

When I’m not illustrating, I enjoy nature walks, old pubs and crafty projects.

5.Lucy Fleming

Lucy Fleming is an illustrator and author living in the north of England.

After completing a first degree in Illustration BA (Hons) at the University of Lincoln she dived into a career as an illustrator. Lucy's work is influenced by her love of story-telling and nature. She has experience working across a wide variety of children's publishing projects as well as greetings cards, toys & puzzles, illustration for brands & packaging, character design for animation, and more.

Lucy's first author/illustrator picture book 'Ella's Night Lights' was published by Walker Books in 2020 and has been published in several languages world-wide.
