From April 21 to April 22, a group of librarians from eight countries
visited the Buddha Museum. Their time at the museum encompassed not only professional engagements but also profound spiritual and cultural encounters. In this article, we will explore the reflections and feedback expressed by four distinguished library directors.
For Frank Scholze, Director General of the German National Library, amidst the serene surroundings and warm hospitality, he found solace and a moment of introspection. The integration of meditation into his routine became a personal goal, as he recognized the profound impact it had on his well-being.
For Janne Andresoo, Director General of the National Library of Estonia, the profound openness and joy she encountered at the museum deeply touched her, leading to an emotional experience that left her almost in tears. She expressed her desire to return to this special place that resonated so deeply with her soul.
