During this quarter, my portfolio likes a rollercoaster journey, with a maximum drawdown of -23% and CAGR dipped as low as 9%. However, through effective adjustments and market opportunities, the portfolio not only recovered its losses but also reached a new all-time high, with the CAGR currently standing at +20%.
It's worth noting that last quarter's CAGR was 24%; this difference is due to an adjustment in the calculation period. To more accurately reflect recent market volatility, I changed the CAGR calculation basis from "years to days". The actual CAGR is 20%.In this March, buyback TSLA at around $320 and sold out CFLT and SNOW after observing technical neckline sell signals. Additionally, due to investment strategy changes, NU, BKNG, and RXST were sold. The RXST trade resulted in a loss of approximately 50%, but its impact on the overall portfolio was limited as it only accounted for 0.4%.
During April market entry drawdown, shifted capital from short-term bonds and cash to actively buy into META, ARM, NOW, EFX, GOOG, and AMZN, all of which I believe have growth potential.
Reviewing last quarter's operations, I thought my investment decision in RXST was a mistake. Furthermore, buying TSLA too early and selling BKNG (due to its high units per share) are areas for review.
My recent thought is to trim some positions and optimize the overall portfolio structure.
