背景介紹：本名為Sky Barbarick，為人所知的藝名為Noosa，她是美國籍的創作型歌手。

她的創作生涯受到澳洲昆士蘭-Noosaville啟發，於是她開始寫歌詮釋她的感受。

Noosa首次嶄露頭角，是因為她的創作”Mirrors in the Moonlight”被作曲家Mickey Valen編製為一首新單曲“Fear of Love”。這首歌和之後的單曲，成功登上了知名音樂部落格The Hype Machine評選第一名。在那之後，Noosa在2012年釋出了首張同名EP-Noosa，並於2014年發表首張個人專輯-Wonderland。

我在2016年第一次聽到Noosa的音樂，那時候讓我印象很深刻的是Halo這首歌。第一次聽覺得非常平靜但卻印象深刻，她的聲音非常乾淨，有一種飄渺的穿透感，她使用的樂器合聲非常靈巧，背景搭配規律的咚咚聲，穿插像在高山上吶喊的迴盪感，還有她低語鋪陳漸漸推進整首歌的氣氛，空間感營造的很遼闊。

2014年的Wonderland這張專輯裡面”Begin Again”和“Wildfire”我非常喜歡。在這之後她也陸續發表了幾隻單曲和EP，期待她第二張專輯遲早問世。

知道她的藝名是由澳洲Noosaville而來之後，心裡一直嚮往這個小鎮一探究竟。2019/03/01她會再次造訪這個小鎮演出，有機會前往的可以去現場感受她的魅力。
