D12@26 May 2021 Plain Covid Diary in Taiwan

added 467 local cases, 11 deaths. 26 May 2021 (Wed)
British variant is terrible. Here are more and more patients have died within 24 hours with a light fever or minor symptoms, the virus beats their lungs suddenly. CDC suggested we prepare oximeters at home, then oximeters have been sold out in one hour.
I bought a Garmin Watch instead of oximeters as I couldn't buy any from the internet. It's stuff that hadn't thought that we had to prepare at home in case.
So, hell on the videos, reports, the press that we've seen for one year are all vividly appear here and have yet to reach 50% of the misery of other countries.
I had a business trip to Taipei this morning, I did every precaution that I could do, I think I sounded like choking while answering the drills in the meeting, but I actually just couldn't breathe well under the mask.
I wore goggles, a mask, a thin coat, used my own pen to sign on paper, kept social distancing from everyone, used stick-like stuff to touch buttons in the cars on the high-speed rail train. I took a shower immediately when arrived home.
I thought I could smell COVID during the trip as I saw that some dogs were trained to identify the smell of COVID. But nope, couldn't even smell the common cold virus. I think that's because I wasn't close to others, which is good.
I hope I'll be fine.
