【謀席乾啊啦！】Muse - Time Is Running Out 歌詞翻譯

以前專題中翻譯過英國另類搖滾樂團Muse的<Uprising 起義>，今天來翻這首筆者也很愛的，Muse 2003年暢銷單曲<Time Is Running Out 沒時間了>，用台語說就是「謀席乾啊啦！」

事情怎麼會變成這樣？

How did it come to this?

事情怎麼會變成這樣？

[註一] you will be the death of me 直翻是「你將成為我的死亡」，也不是不行，但筆者覺得中文意境上沒那麼順，再來若詩意一點翻成「你將是我生命的終結」則過於優美，原文歌詞並沒有刻意寫成"you will be the end of my life,"，或"you will be the end of me,"，作詞刻意用的是death，因此取死神的涵意，這意境就像你crush的對象，既是你的女神也是你的死神，因為"愛到卡慘死"。她能讓你著迷也能讓你著魔。

[註二] push it underground 當一個線上活動轉為地下活動，或檯面上轉檯面下時，可以用push it underground表達，歌詞直翻是「你不能把它轉為地下活動」，筆者偏向翻「你不能讓它見不得光。」這裡的"它"指的是什麼呢，筆者認為是那受到壓抑的感情，也可能是指讓演唱者感到窒息的地下戀情。

[註三] fixation 除了是醫療術語，指治療骨折施加的固定術(例如打鋼釘)，也可以是過分依戀，迷戀的意思，例如戀母情結，除了講Oedipus complex 伊底帕斯情節，也可以說Mother-Fixation。

MV曾獲音樂錄影帶獎提名，筆者始終很喜歡Muse那種黑暗頹廢的風格，而且MV中有穿軍服跳艷舞的美女（實在太膚淺了我）。
