為了拿雅思高分,別畫地自限
從觀光景點聯想到美食一點也不稀奇,考到觀光景點還能談及【描述一位你尊崇/崇拜的人】,那才會被我認為是活學活用。也就是我常說的:其實雅思口說考題根本沒必要分門別類來練,也不需要準備五套所謂的共同劇情--人、物、時、地、事--然後遇到人的考題就拿人的劇情來應對、遇到物的考題就拿物的劇情來應對,以此類推。我很不鼓勵這樣準備雅思口說;相反地,我鼓勵考生學以致用,誰說考到地的話題不能拿人結合物的劇情回答呢?
觀察題目要求哪些要素
根據這道題目,要回答到哪一個景點、在哪裡、遊客可以看見什麼以及從事哪些活動。從前面我一再叮嚀的【資訊蘊含量】的角度出發,開場白肯定要秀這個絕招:

- 不但揭露哪一個觀光景點,還透露了景點的演變(成為必遊景點)。
- 使用"縮影"這個詞,暗示了101大樓內包含了多方面的台灣特色。
- 最後的現代生活方式和美食文化,為後續回答內容埋下伏筆。
- 沒有艱深單字也可以有個漂亮的開場。
不靠大字--夢幻單字--就這麼輕輕鬆鬆爭取到邏輯連貫的分數,只要考生平日演練時多花點時間策劃開場白,把直白的開場變成足以控場的主題句,到了真正考試時正常發揮平日所學,高分自然落袋。
