📖 Today's Reading

Gigi loved lunch time. She always packed a little drawing notebook with her lunch so she could sketch after eating.
But today, when she opened her backpack—her lunchbox was gone!“Oh no!” she said. “Did I forget it at home?”
Her best friend Lily said, “Let's look around!”
They checked the classroom, the art corner, and even under the slide at recess. Still, no lunchbox.
Gigi sat down sadly near the reading corner. Then she saw it—next to her favorite book on the shelf! “I must have left it here yesterday when I was reading,” she said.
Ms. Lin smiled. “I'm glad you found it. Next time, let’s keep things in the cubby.”
Lily shared her cookie anyway. “Thanks for helping me,” Gigi said. “You’re the best friend.”
