Introduction of "A Book A Year"

About us

“A Book A Year” （一年一本游擊編輯組）is an independent publisher founded by writers in 2017. We believe publication could facilitate civic co-operation and participation. We hold meeting for writers to talk, to share, to improve writing and editorial skills together. Our books and catalogues are all organized and written by writers with their own hands.

Our Features

• • We publish “Animal Writings” and “Science Fiction”.
  • We focus on short story/ light novel.
  • We highlight works that are relaxing, interesting and heart-warming.
  • We promote works thar are easy to read and to understand for adult/ young adult readers.

International Experience

• • 2024/ 2019, Japan (Seiun Award, 星雲賞): “A Book A Year” participated in activities and gave speech on features and recent development of science fiction in Taiwan.
