亞當．路賓(Adam Rubin)

從小就喜歡文字。尤其是booyah〈屌啊〉、kerfuffle〈亂哄哄〉還有jabroni〈笨蛋〉這類的字。他的故事在全世界被翻譯成各式各樣的語言，給了數不清的主題生日派對超棒的靈感。

Adam Rubin is the #1 New York Times best-selling author of a dozen critically-acclaimed picture books. 黃筱茵

國立臺灣師範大學英語研究所博士班（文學組）學分修畢。曾任編輯，翻譯繪本與青少年小說等超過兩百五十冊，擔任文化部中小學生優良課外讀物評審與九歌少兒文學獎評審等，並為報章書本撰寫許多書評與導讀。近年也撰寫專欄、擔任講師，推廣繪本文學與青少年小說。從故事中試著了解生命裡的歡喜悲傷，認識可以一起喝故事茶的好朋友。

※結論 

第一次接觸繪本是閱讀“噴火龍來了”，覺得裡面的內容滿風趣搞笑，感覺作者對於夾餅有特殊的情懷，以至於出版第二本還是用夾餅做為貫穿故事環境很重要的訊息，甚至還出版有關夾餅與怪獸的硬頁小手冊一本，看來夾餅在作者心目中的地位有一定的份量

接下來作者出了一本有關於披薩的繪本"Secret Pizza Party"，看來作者對於飲食有相當大的執念，特別喜歡麵皮製作的食材，內容當然也不是走正規童書繪本形式，接下來作者腦洞大開，想到如何透過飲食將人類變成機器人，這一類的題材目前還沒有人想過，於是就創作了"Robo-Sauce"繪本，喜歡不一樣題材繪本的朋友，不妨也可以參考本篇介紹的繪本
